The Battle of Camden

In August of 1780, the town of Camden, South Carolina, is occupied by British forces that are still intent on smashing the Patriot rebellion five years after the war started in 1775. This film follows a group of people who are trying to cope with life under occupation, a life that is interrupted by a large battle that consumes everyone they know. The center piece of the film is a large-scale battle that the history books consider a victory for the British.
